the curious case of the lusty wasps

The organization of this article is general-to-specific order. Because, it gives specific information of how wasps start mating. The tone of this article is informative cause it lets you know the process of how everything starts off and how it ends.  The author that wrote this seems very intrigued. They explain it with every detail as if they really were wanting to know or explain. The main idea of this article is to inform the reader about how wasps find their mate and how they need to evolve new pheromones. Also, how they keep reproducing new species of wasps if they mate with a didn't kind of wasps so that don't become extinct. "Choosing mates by detecting and responding to the sex pheromones of only their own species." "New pheromones, the female insects would need some preexisting adaptation that would cause them to prefer the new chemical blend." "Mixture starts off as a neutral genetic among an early lineage." This article was very interesting to me, I think its very outstanding to know how wasps reproduce and how that find their mates. I believe that this can mean a lot to other people especially if they really are into wasps or they want to know more about them.

  1. Your assessment of the organization seems accurate, but "informative" is seldom sufficient to describe a tone. I would call it "analytical" because it breaks down the answer the the question piece by piece. The "as if they really were wanting to know" aspect of the tone could also be described as "curious," which would not be misapplied here.

In the future, please paraphrase quotes after inserting them to demonstrate your interpretation of their significance.

For inferences, think about what pheromones mean for species beyond wasps--take the conclusions to the next level of relevancee.
